In the exhibition space, there are graphic elements, lines and circle fragments – and huge cuboids – for free experimental play with collaboration. The exhibition in the Kunsthalle poses the question: City society of the future – How do we want to live in the future? K.I. Cooperative Intelligence opens up the space to play with these and other questions. At the same time, it deals with the complexity of coexistence, the transfer of responsibility to AI, self-efficacy and the city.

The action begins with questions to AI from the Düsseldorf Kunsthalle team, Baukultur NRW, the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia, and all visitors and guests present. The situation provides the freedom to encounter one another outside of constraints and necessities, to follow one’s own intuition, to resonate with others, to deal with contradictions together and to find unexpected solutions.

All art that breaks new ground disrupts the fabric of habit and norm in which we move every day. This provides order and stability, but at the same time hinders our view of reality. This is helpful and efficient, but only until dysfunction becomes obvious. Court jesters, artists and philosophers have been breaking down rigid structures for millennia. Every person contributes to our culture, and this fact is used by the campaign for a serious game and the search for answers.
