Elements for a theory of periphery

The modules for a theory of periphery represent a series of 7 planned public discussions held in different places and on a certain topic each. The topics include abstract aspects which are in some way related to the centre / periphery theme, but also practical – for example, urbanistic – subjects. A recurrent formal element is the so-called Communication Furniture used in each of these sessions, designed by Ute Reeh and built by TECTA. The mostly changing invited participants include persons from various professional domains, depending on the respective subject.

So far, three of these modular discussion rounds have taken place; four more are planned for the future.
